Meet Colin Jacobs
Born and raised in Coppell, Texas, Colin Jacobs' hockey journey began on the same rinks where he now helps develop the next generation. From winning a AAA National Championship to being selected in the 2011 NHL Draft by the Buffalo Sabres, Colin went on to play 13 seasons of professional hockey across North America and Europe.
Since 2018, Colin has worked in player development, bringing firsthand experience and a deeper understanding of what the game demands at each level. As a Skills Development Coach, teaching the skills of the game is where I thrive.
Now coaching within the Dallas Stars Elite program, Colin's focus goes beyond teaching skills. It's about helping players understand their game, recognize areas for growth, and build the habits that support long-term development. Every player's journey is different. The goal is to help them make the most of theirs.
